DBA stands against violence alongside Juneau community in downtown
The Downtown Business Association stood against violence alongside the Juneau Police Department and community members at the JPD coordinated gathering in Marine Park on July 20, 2016. This quickly planned event was very successful and brought together multiple people from the community. The business community also showed its support by donating food and time to the cause.
Pokemon Mob
The Downtown Business Association Marketing Committee decided to funnel the excitement of the latest Pokemon Go game to curate a walk through downtown Juneau with enthusiastic players. The event brought together more than 50 people of all ages. Alaska Robotics led the group. The route was nearly three miles and went along downtown’s waterfront and up through the heart of downtown [Franklin and Front Street], then heading up to the Governor’s Mansion before returning again to the Alaska State Museum.
