Local Collaboration for Global Impact: Devil’s Club Brewing Co and Southeast Alaska Land Trust Launch Earth To Beer IPA

Juneau, Alaska. April 7, 2024 — Beer lovers and environmental advocates rejoice! Devil’s Club Brewing Co (DCBC) and Southeast Alaska Land Trust (SEALT) are celebrating Earth Day with the upcoming release of a collaborative beer that supports SEALT’s effort to raise $250,000 for their Acquisition Fund. Earth To Beer Locally Foraged IPA will be released on draft and in 16oz cans beginning April 20 — the Saturday leading up to Earth Day — and is part of a national Earth Day beer campaign that raises funds for environmental organizations across the country.

Southeast Alaska Land Trust works to permanently conserve wetlands, recreation lands, wildlife habitats, open space, and subsistence lands. To date their work has protected over 3,600 acres of land in Southeast Alaska. The Acquisition Fund gives SEALT the ability to act quickly on important conservation opportunities for the permanent protection of natural areas.

With Southeast Alaska Land Trust’s work in mind, Earth To Beer Locally Foraged IPA was brewed with Salmon Safe certified hops and malts from Indie Hops in Portland, OR and Mainstem Malt in Walla Walla, WA. Locally foraged additions of Labrador tea, spruce tips and spruce branches from SEALT conservation land lends a unique flavor that pays homage to SEALT’s work.

Look for the beer on draft at Devil’s Club Brewing Co and in 16oz cans at select retailers in Anchorage and Juneau beginning April 20. Devil’s Club Brewing Co will be donating 10% of all sales to Southeast Alaska Land Trust.

Earth To Beer Locally Foraged IPA is released as part of a national campaign called Earth To Beer. More than 30 breweries in over 20 states are participating by making specially packaged beer with environmentally responsible ingredients and by giving back to local environmental organizations that make Earth Day their every day.
